Babadağ 1700 m Launch

The 1,700 m ramp is Babadağ's mid-mountain paragliding launch — a shorter drive up than the summit and, on many days, the busiest take-off, with the classic run out over the lagoon and down to the beach. Which ramp you fly from is chosen by the operator on the day, according to wind and cloud, so you rarely get to pick. As a rule, the higher you launch the longer you stay up — but 1,700 m already gives a full, unhurried flight of around half an hour.

Getting there: By tandem flight; or the cable car and chairlift toward the ramp.

Tip: Operators pick the ramp by the day's conditions; you rarely choose. Higher generally means a longer flight.
