The postcard view of Ölüdeniz is from the winding road that drops down from Ovacık — a run of pull-ins where the sandspit, lagoon and beach are laid out far below, Babadağ towering behind. It's the shot on every brochure and the first proper look at the bay as you arrive. The light is best on the way down in the afternoon; roadside space is tight in peak season, so pull in carefully rather than stopping on the bends.

Tip: Better on the way down in the afternoon light. Space to stop is tight in season.
